MCC FELLAship Garage

A Men’s Shed is a community-based, non-profit, non-commercial organisation that is accessible to all men and whose primary activity is the provision of a safe and friendly environment where men are able to work on meaningful projects at their own pace in their own time in the company of other men. A major objective is to advance the well-being and health of their male members.

MCC was established 126 years ago and has always had a strong presence within the community and has consistently explored options to serve the local community. The FELLAship garage is the latest initiative and is in response to a growing need to provide opportunities for men to have conversations with other men about issues facing them.

Men’s sheds provide a wonderful opportunity to reach out to men and provide a space to not only build, restore and fix “things” but also it is a space to have conversations with other men rather than bottling up and creating serious mental health challenges. 

We are in the setup stage of our shed/garage now with benches being built, shelving getting sorted and many other projects to get the shed setup the way the guys want.
