Our Women's Ministries for 2020 are currently in recess during covid-19.
Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples. John 13:35
Our Vision: To encourage women to gather, strengthen and inspire each other to support our sisters locally and globally through Him.
Embrace host events for women of all ages so that we can meet together in fellowship to support one another. These events are a time of fun and relaxation for every busy woman to enjoy and also learn more about God, our world and our fellow sisters around the globe.
You can RSVP to our events on facebook or in the RSVP Sheet in the church foyer closer to the event dates.
Feel free to invite a friend and enjoy meeting with us as we share a delicious morning tea, enjoy a wonderful program of worship and an inspirational speaker. We finish with a light lunch of sandwiches.
Our morning commences at 10am in the Church hall and concludes around 12 noon.
In 2020 our focus will be Supreme Blessedness. Jesus taught His disciples a revolutionary new way to live. We are looking at the Beatitudes which still challenge our values today.
Woman To Woman is in recess at this time due to the Covid 19. We will resume as soon as it is safe to do so.
We will update the program as soon as we are advised of the Government Regulations regarding social distancing and the feasibility of meeting with our current attendance.
Come and join the Women's Book Club for dinner, catch up and book discussion.
We meet at 7pm at Nino's Italian Restaurant 3/10 Waratah Street, Engadine.
In 2020 we will be meeting on:
Friday, 14th February
Friday, 26th June - via zoom meeting, contact Roz for details
Friday, 30th October
The book we will be discussing at our next Book Club Dinner is Riley Unlikely by Riley Banks-Snyder.
This is the inspiring true story of Riley, a young woman who has a heart for Africa. Riley first travelled to Kenya when she was 13 and has been back every year since taking backpacks of school supplies and hygiene kits for young girls, developing relationships and friendships. She is currently raising money to build a complete learning complex in Kibwezi, Kenya for those who have nothing.
If anyone would like to read the book, please do so and if you would like to talk about what you thought of the book please come along to the dinner, you would be most welcome.
